Royal Columbian Hospital Elevator Modernization

This project includes the modernization of elevators located at the Royal Columbian Hospital at 330 E Columbia Street, New Westminster, BC. AES scope includes the review of power capacity for new elevator equipment, modification of fire alarm panel and devices, as required in elevator lobbies, pit and elevator overhead, and machine room to accommodate emergency elevator recall. Our team is also providing the review of emergency power transfer switch, electrical feeders and disconnect capacity for modernized elevators, conduit and wiring between machine room disconnects and new elevator controllers/transformers in machine rooms, and electrical outlets in pit and machine room. Our team measured lighting levels in the elevator machine room and elevator lobbies, as well as designed for additional lighting in compliance with B44 and BCBC requirements.
